Rich and Zach Stevenson (Father and Son) will begin a new podcast called “Join Me in the Ruins” on March 3rd. There will be weekly episodes released wherever you listen to podcasts.
We are calling this a RE · CON · STRUCT Podcast…take that word apart and you get: AGAIN · TOGETHER · BUILD.
We care deeply for those who feel the need to deconstruct their faith and we want to encourage leaders in the church to lead with a humble heart.
Using a book by E. Stanley Jones called “The Reconstruction of the Church – On What Pattern?” as an anchor, we hope to share from our heart and help to make the Church better.
In the 2nd chapter of Nehemiah, he mounts a horse alone at night and surveys the ruins of Jerusalem:
17 Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace.”
We invite you to join us there…where there is disconnect…where there is brokenness. Join Us in the Ruins with humble hearts that believe the Church can be better.
